This week, we started the week with an online assembly about water safety when walking by rivers and canals. We’ve been learning about mass and capacity in Maths, comparing units of measurement. In English, we’ve been learning about how to use time connectives to sequence events and how to use conjunctions to extend sentences. In History, we’ve learnt about how people worked together to put out the Great Fire of London, and what types of equipment they used. In Science, we’ve been learning about germination and we’ve set up an experiment to find out whether plants need water to grow. In PSHE, we’ve worked together in groups to make beautiful birds. In Art, we’ve used our knowledge of making tints and shades to paint an apple, and make it look 3D.
