As part of the our local history unit about the Georgians, Year 6 enjoyed a trip to Bath on Monday. We visited No.1 Royal Crescent, dressing up as Georgians, using quills and learning what life in Georgian Bath was like, both above and below stairs. A local history expert from Historic England also lead us on a fascinating walk, when the children learnt about architecture, the development of the city and how buildings can give us clues about what life was like in the past.
