We have really enjoyed learning about the life cycle of a caterpillar. Over the past few weeks we have watched our 1cm caterpillars grow to about 6cms in length and get fatter. We were fascinated by their metamorphosis from caterpillar to chrysalis and their transformation into butterflies. This morning we watched them happily fly away and cheered them on their way.
