Red Class have been busy learning through hands-on experiences! The children enjoyed planting vegetables in our new polytunnel, developing their understanding of how plants grow. In Maths, they practised 1:1 correspondence using counting wands, carefully matching each number to an object. They explored seasonal vegetables in the mud kitchen, using their imaginations to create and investigate. Reception used their funky fingers to consolidate their understanding of the sounds m, a and s, strengthening their fine motor skills as they learned.
