Year 5 have had a brilliant week showing ready to learn behaviours and discussing our zones of regulation. We are very excited by our new Accelerated Reader tracking system which tells us how many words we have read per book when we have completed our AR quizzes!
This week in our learning, we have finished our persuasive letter to famous footballers encouraging them to campaign for Fairtrade footballs to be used at all levels. We have also been focusing on finding fractions of a whole or amount using our multiplication skills. We have talked a lot about maintaining healthy bodies, including how to manage stress, in PSHE and in History we learnt all about the Greek Olympics and how our Olympics today is similar or different.
