As the sun sets on our final full day of camp, the children have begun the annual end-of-camp disco. We've had another superb day and some fantastic food (Pizza and then fish and chips).
Alongside this, children have had time to reflect upon the skills that they have gained and how to approach different challenging experiences. They have all grown as people developing friendships, growing in confidence and becoming more and more resilient.
They are looking forward to their final day tomorrow and hopefully a good rest this evening.
Well, we have had another brilliant day here at Whitemead Park. The day started with a visit from Mr Knollys for breakfast followed by a series of laughter, teamwork and fun. We've done archery, raft building, circus skills, crate challenges and many more.
All of the children are having a great day and many friendships are being built and strengthened.
This evening we've enjoyed a delicious dinner of spaghetti bolognaise followed by jelly and ice cream and tonight's entertainment includes a campfire and the scrapheap challenge starting with a very noisy music quiz!
What a super day we've had! Burgers for lunch and roast for tea. The children have had a fantastic day and all of the activities (apart from fencing) have been able to be outside!! Currently sitting around a fire singing camp songs! We hope you have all had a lovely day too. 😀
Just a quick update to say everyone has slept well. We've had lovely fry up before the morning activities involving raft building, fencing, tree climbing, body zorbing and den building. Unfortunately, the wi-fi is a little bit intermittent due to the location we are in but we will try our best to update when we can. Have a lovely day. 😀
